FAIRS OF TASTES - LJUBLJANA (Slovenia) - February 8. - 11
The upcomming specialized fairs GASTexpo - Fair of Gastronomy, Beverages, Coffee, Confectionery, Bakery, Restaurant and Hospitality; Fair ICECREAM  and WINE Fair are expecting exhibitors and business visitors with a new slogan - Fairs tastes.

The fairs will take place in Ljubljana on Gospodarsko razstaviš e from 8 - 11 February 2010.

The fairs will satisfy all top gourmet, ice cream, wine tastes and other "commercial tastes" of the visitors (this year there were 15.000), because there are expected around 300 local and foreign exhibitors with many technological innovations (thiis year 30) and many technical programs, which are often run by the exhibitors themselves.

At the Fair Wine, which has successfully joined the fair GASTexpo & Ice cream this year, and which effectively connects home buyers with the winemakers, next year will organize evaluation of wines by the catering trades and businessman in two categories:

Selection of wine of the businessman - the businessmen who visit the exhibition will make the evaluation; The selection of wine of the caterers - caterers from different Slovenian regions will evaluate the best wine in that category.

A special importance will be given to organized tastings and workshops, where all  winemakers will have the chance to present their products to the visitors and specially to potential business partners.

The three specialized fairs will write new directions in connecting hospitality industy, direct supply and demand, with the top offer from exhibitors, business visitors from the profession.

PRESENTATIONS OF THE FAIRS
The Fairs are visited mostly by professionals and businesspeople from the sector that obtains free entry by presenting an invitation or some form of previous accreditation.

The Organizer sends more than 10,000 business invitations throughout Slovenia and over 10,000  international invitations all by direct post. Online, we invite more than 17,000 potentials visitors.
At the 2009 edition of the Fair, the exhibitors ordered and sent more than 22,000 invitations to their business partners.

The response was positive, and the fair was visited by 15,000 businesspeople and professionals.

The first day, Monday 8 February 2010, will be open to all visitors; the remaining days will focus on the operators of the each sector.

WHO WILL EXHIBIT AT THE FAIR?
The exhibitors include Slovenian and foreign companies with the intent to gain new clients and new markets and obtain positive effects that only participation in such a specialised international Fair can bring.
In the 2009 edition 289 exhibitors participated in the fair: direct exhibitors 169 (146 Slovene and 23 international) and 120 representatives (4 Slovene an 116 international).

REGULARITY AND RANGE
The Fairs are organised every year and offer the exhibitors, professionals and businesspeople unique international job opportunities in the geo-strategic area of the markets of Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, the countries of former Yugoslavia and other potential markets.

EVENTS
This year all the workshops will be prepared to allow the visitors to obtain practical skills.
Most of the events during the fairs are organised by the exhibitors themselves on their exhibition stands with the help of well-known professionals of the sector.In the 2009 edition the exhibitors presented more than 30 technological innovations!

The Fairs will be held in hall A (Kupola – Cupola),  B (Marmorna – Marble hall),  A2 (Kocka – Cube) and C (Steklena – Glass hall) in total  7.170 sqm of exhibition area.

The Fair will feature Slovenian and foreign exhibitors presenting their exhibition programme including quality brands and defined trends for the professionals of the sector.The fair is well known for its quality, rich and various offerings, professionalism and for its innovations. In 2009, the visitors had the opportunity to see more than 30 innovations!

4th International specialised Fair of ICE Cream
The world’s leading producer and many other brands from the ice cream industry are present, particularly from Italy  –  the “home of ice cream”. Ice cream is not “only” ice cream; it is also equipment, ingredients, additives and much more.
The quality of the exhibitors, the rich and various offerings and free tasting are the principal ingredients to the success of the Fair.

2nd International specialised Wine FAIR
The Fair continues the wine culture and tradition in the Slovenian capital.
The main goal of the fair is to connect Slovenian and foreign clients with the wine producers.
The professional visitors will choose from the variety of first class Slovenian and other wines to increase the quality and variety of wines in their facilities.

A special importance will be given to organized tastings and workshops, where all  winemakers will have the chance to present their products to the visitors and specially to potential business partners. During the FAIR Wines will be assessed by both professionals from the sector and other businesspeople: Selected wines for businesspeople - are assessed by those who visit the fair;Selected wines for professionals - are assessed by those in catering from different regions of Slovenia.
