The coffee company, Anthares s.r.l. from Triest (Italy), arranges an international competition which involves artistic works focusing on coffee in all its forms.

Notice of competition

Regulations

The competition is for artists making work in digital formats:

photographs, graphics, short films (maximum 5 minutes), spot (1 minute maximum);

The theme of the works is coffee, from bean to cup;

Works which have received awards in other competitions are ineligible;

Each competitor may propose up to three works;

Works must be sent no later than July 30, 2010 , to the following

email address: ;

Participation in the Contest constitutes an express authorization to freely reproduce works in magazines and on the web;

Panel

The Panel is made up of international artists, art teachers and

Professors and Leading figures from the Coffee Business;

The Judges’ decision is final;

The Panel reserves the right to give special mentions and signal works of particular

interest;

The Panel will not award a prize ex-aequo;

Application

The fee is € 30, this contribution must be paid on the postal c/c 34673350, made

payable to Club Anthares;

The fee is reduced by 50% for Anthares Club members in good standing with the fee

payment;

Application to the competition is concluded by sending, within the prescribed period in

art. 5, to:

titled digital works
receipt of payment of the contribution;

brief CV;

name, address, email and phone number of the author;

declaration, signed by the author, that the works are original and have never been

awarded in other competitions.

Prizegiving

The three winners will receive, during the closing ceremony, a check, respectively, of

1500 €, 1000 € and 500 €;

Each of the first five finishers will have the opportunity to ehibit their works during

the Triestespresso Expo 2010;

The Panel will award special mentions to the plaque the “ AntharesCoffeePrize” and

exposure to Triestespresso Expo 2010.

Participation in the competitions implies full acceptance of the above.
